Coaching is a collaborative relationship between the coach and the client to help the client identify and reach certain goals; devise solutions for current or future challenges; actualise their potential and/or achieve positive growth and transformation.

A life coach is someone who helps people acknowledge their personal challenges and set specific goals for change. They empower clients to take charge of their own growth by facilitating and encouraging rather than directing and instructing.

Life coaching can help by providing you with dedicated time to consider and discuss your individual needs. You will be listened to without judgement. You will be helped to set personal goals and devise action plans to achieve them. You will be given guidance, support and strategic insight to keep you moving in the right direction and make the changes needed.

The aim of a life coach is to empower clients by helping them to identify strengths, overcome limiting beliefs and build confidence in their ability to achieve goals

Everything discussed in a life coaching session is confidential. This is a fundamental ethical principle and legal obligation which extends to written, electronic and verbal communications. Your privacy is valued and protected.

Holistic wellbeing is a comprehensive, proactive approach to health that recognises the interconnectedness of mind body and spirit. It focuses on nurturing the whole person including physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects to achieve balance and overall harmony.

Active listening is when the listener is fully engaged (not passive). It gives full focus and concentration towards the person speaking in order to fully understand their message..

A personal goal is a specific objective you set for yourself to improve an aspect of your life; achieve a desired outcome; or foster personal growth.

Core values are fundamental beliefs and guiding principles that dictate your behaviour and actions. They help you determine what is important and how to prioritise your life.

Balance is where all aspects of life (physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual) coexist harmoniously supporting one another.

No spiritual does not mean religious. (although they can overlap for a person with religious beliefs) Spiritual refers to the innermost, authentic individual self, their meaning, purpose and connections with the world around them.
